It’s the boudoir meets the Pampas. The Candela Fall/Winter 2013 Collection really played into grace of femininity with long flowy skirts, ruffled shirts, and beaded dresses. Though pieces ranged in fabric–knit to denim to chiffon–each of them uniquely portrayed the delicacy of the female form.

Tadashi Shoji’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection can be summed up with a quote from the designer himself: “The fall of the Romanov dynasty.” The graceful, feminine, and almost fairy-like pieces in the show, combined with the upbeat and dreamy music, creates the illusion of being in a beautiful magical land.

Kimberly Ovitz’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection was an eclectic mixture of animalistic and industrial pieces. The warm blues and golds contrasted exquistely with the metallic blacks and silvers. All in all, we were presented with clothing that would make any woman feel empowered and elegant.
