Aniston is starring in a new TV role—as a newscaster—in a new show for Apple, also starring Reese Witherspoon.

The drama is “built around a morning TV show in the style of Today and Good Morning America,” and has already been bought for two 10-episode seasons, according to the The New York Times.

Aniston—ever chic, sophisticated and always stylish, is an icon for aspirational women everywhere. For her newscaster role, Aniston’s Celebrity Master Colorist—Michael Canale, created a new look for the star.

Lives of Style: How did you plan to work on Jennifer Aniston’s color?

Michael: Prior to filming I started moving Jennifer’s color so that it would be perfect for her new TV series. It’s “Old School Michael Canale” color – a very sophisticated look but still sexy.

Lives of Style: Did you work with Chris McMillan on the look?

Michael: I do whatever the cutter wants. Chris McMillan wanted Old School Canale techniques. Paper-thin highlights and popped out highlights. The whole front is popped out and it goes back two inches. The color frames her face so that her hair looks sun-kissed at all times of the day.

Lives of Style: You also have a new gloss, did you use it on Aniston?

Michael: Yes, we used the new Canale at-home blue gloss that takes the yellow out. Jennifer has sandy blonde hair so the blue gloss is perfect for her hair. It lasts for 20 shampoos and also provides a UV block.

You let it sit on the hair for three minutes. The gloss adds shine and reduces frizz, making hair healthy and easy to manage. And it’s Keratin-safe.

After that first shampoo you still have 19 left.

And Soften Plus is coming up too. It adds shine and reduces frizz. It makes hair healthy and easy to manage. Keratin-safe.
