Dramatic Shoulders and Juxtaposition of Textures and Shapes Defines Alexandre Herchcovitch’s Collection for Fall/Winter 2011

Alexandre Herchcovitch

Using cashmere, lace, wool and chiffon, Alexandre Hercovitch stuck with only three colors for his show: a gray-blue, black, and a bright greenish-yellow.

He termed it a “grieving widow” theme – wool dresses and hoods and barely any skin exposure.

Edgy and daring, Herchcovitch included such fun touches as tight leather gloves that went up to the shoulders of the model and form-fitting jumpsuits.
