Flowing Capes, Sleek Silhoettes and Luxurious Furs Capture Attention at Elie Tahari’s Fall/Winter 2011 Show

Elie Tahari

Rich burgandy was the main color utilized by Elie Tahari other than neutrals – camel, black, chocolate, white and beige.

Slinky, glamorous, rich, detailed and sharply tailored, the line exuded grace and high style.

A crisp white suit was shown with a white fur stole, and it was followed up with a white shirt bedecked with layers and layers of feathers.

Tahari’s wide leg pants paired well with chunky sweaters and structured blazers, and his many iterations of leopard print were all equally luxe.

Tahari’s intricate accents of lace, chiffon, fur and leopard prints, bias cuts and sharply defined silhouettes attracted celebrities like Joan Rivers.
