If you’re a seasoned fashionista and you eat sleep and breathe the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, then you would have died and gone to fashion heaven at the Cannes Film Festival.
Everyone who’s anyone in the fashion and film industry came together and showed off their glamorous side.
The “best of the best” were photographed at über chic parties, premieres and red carpets.
Supermodel Naomi Cambell posed on the red carpet before she entered Chopard’s late night “‘50’s themed” gala that drew an A-list crowd. The party was held at The Hotel Martinet, which was transformed into a cabaret nightclub. Chopard—as well as Italian Vogue—contributed to an amazing fashion show for Naomi’s charity: Fashion for Relief.
Famous faces were spotted in the front rows at the tent.
Harvey Weinstein, his wife Georgina Chapman, designer Roberto Cavalli and socialite Ivana Trump all supported this spectacular charity.
Also in the crowd: iconic actor Robert De Niro with wife Grace Hightower De Niro, who wore Armani. Uma Thurman was spotted festooned in Chopard jewels. Jude Law—who looked absolutely dapper, was at The Fashion for Relief “after-partying” in the VIP area as former Google CEO Eric Schmidt joined in in on the conversation.
Two-time Oscar winner Jane Fonda, 73, looked decades younger in a figure-hugging, beaded, sheer Marchesa evening gown. Talk about an entrance! When she walked the runway for Fashion for Relief, she got a standing ovation.
Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster posed as Greek gods before greeting their fans at their much-talked-about premiere of “The Beaver,” which Foster stars and directs.
Angelina Jolie simmered in a strapless, mocha-colored Atelier Versace gown in silk mikado and came to support her soul-mate, Brad Pitt as he walked the red carpet for the premiere “The Tree of life”.
Johnny Depp, in a casual, all-white, head-to-toe suit and Penelope Cruz, in a form-fitting, navy Stella McCartney gown, were a picture-perfect pair walking the red carpet at the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides premiere.
