Givenchy’s Pre-Fall Menswear 2012 Looks Presage Major Trends for Fall

Tomorrow, Givenchy’s designer Riccardo Tisci unveils his Fall menswear collection.

But tonight, there’s time to glance again at Tisci’s pre-fall “Look Book” for signals that the talented designer is giving out for the direction he thinks men’s fashion will be heading.

The first trend that’s apparent is Tisci’s seasoned take on street wear. Featured in this collection are well-tailored blazers, skirts, and leather pants accompanied by his signature Rottweiler graphic tees.

Expanding his attachment to graphic tee’s from his last show, Tisci was also inspired by the concept of the sea with shark-tooth necklaces, aquatic blue shirts, and navy fleet stars.

Marine-inspired colors give a refreshing look that probably will be continued for fall 2012.This collection’s powerful dark water appearance will definitely make for an impressive season.

Tisci’s black suit ensemble for a night out, mixed with a “street wear” edge reminds fashion-goers that these two style can be thrilling together.

The completed collection has already hit the streets. Actually, it’s more like… hit the concert stage! Kanye West and Jay-Z were seen rocking out on stage for their Watch The Throne Tour with their own custom tees. Yeezy also made an avant-garde fashion statement by wearing Tisci’s leather skirt and pants while on tour.

Wrapping up his designs for the official Fall/Winter 2012-Tisci appears to be on a sure path with his signature looks for menswear.
