Mulberry’s Autumn Winter 2012 Forest Fairytale

Mulberry has announced its new Autumn Winter 2012 Campaign, featuring model Lindsey Wixson among fantastical, giant fur-covered creatures. Inspired by Creative Director Emma Hill’s fairytale fantasies of “mysterious expeditions” and possibly the children’s picture book Where The Wild Thing Are, the campaign ad illustrates the vast woods of the English Blackheath Forest in a new light. The campaign’s photographer Tim Walker noted, “Ever since I was a little boy, I hoped to see a monster in the woods. Now, we all get to.” Mulberry’s fur-driven inspiration is also reflected in the line; Wixson models several fur-lined outfits and matching handbags.
