High fashion meets affordability this holiday season with the long awaited unveiling of the Target + Neiman Marcus collaboration which has been highly anticipated since its announcement back in July.

Target has never been afraid to embrace collaboration, from the long-lasting Isaac Mizrahi partnership to the store-wide Missoni collection. This holiday season, the trendy discount retailer has snagged an unlikely partnership with the luxury chain Neiman Marcus to do what neither of the stores has ever done before.

With the assistance of 24 CFDA designers, from Oscar de la Renta to Marc Jacobs, 50 limited-edition holiday products ranging from $7.99 to $499.99 are geared to hit Target stores December 1.

Diane von Furstenberg visited “Good Morning America” this week to unveil the collection that designer fans can’t wait to get their hands on. “Neiman Marcus is putting out a welcome mat, saying we want all kinds of shoppers,” said Fast Company editor Jeff Chu. “By doing this, Target and Neiman Marcus are making Super Saturday about fashion, design and trendy things that you can afford.”

The collection is a fashion designer smorgasbord sure to have something for everyone: there’s a $19.99 Christmas ornament by Rodarte, a $49.99 Diane von Furstenberg yoga mat, a stationery set by Carolina Herrera, a pet bowl by Oscar de la Renta and a Derek Lam skateboard. And the giving doesn’t just end with the holidays as the companies involved will donate $1 million of the proceeds to the non-profit Council of Fashion Designers of America.
