Happy Daylight saving time Lives of Style audience!  It’s Michael! Since it’s almost spring I want to kick off with Karla’s question this week.

Hi Michael,

I want to go blonde.  How do you decide what a good blonde would look like on you?

Warm Regards,

Hi Karla,

Thanks for your question! A lot of women want to brighten up their hair color in time for Spring–now that the sun is out and the weather is warmer.

The way to go blonde with the best possible results is to start going blonde and every time…. And move it blonder until you get your desired “blonde” look.

Now that we have Balayage we can do it faster. We would still start you blonde and move you in stages to get that perfect blonde.

My technique makes your hair color look more blended from root to end, darker to lighter and it shouldn’t be done in one process.

Remember, this can damage your hair if you don’t go to the right people.

Anyone can send in questions so please email me at

Until next Monday!
