Happy Spring… I want to kick off with Karyn’s question this week.

Hi Michael,

I went overboard with my hair color and it got too brassy, how can I tone it down?

Please help!

Karyn

Hi Karyn,

To solve that problem, I would use a color bath. Since Canale salon is known for correction, brassiness can only be corrected permanently by removing it.  Highlights are the best correction and then it is essential to tone it properly.  I am known for creating the color bath, a permanent blending technique that allows you to control the color. It’s a specific mix that I personalize for each client so everyone gets a different mix. It was one of my first correctional color techniques that I made mainstream. We do this after the highlights.  Then you will have beautiful looking hair.

Anyone can send in questions so please email me at michael@livesofstyle.com

Until next Monday!

xo,

Michael
