Luxury Brand Fendi to Open First German Boutique

The designer label fronted by fashion icon and German-born creative director Karl Lagerfeld opened its first German boutique this past Tuesday, March 18th with an event hosted by Lagerfeld, Silvia Venturini Fendi and company CEO Pietro Beccari.

To commemorate the opening, Fendi has created a limited quantity of 50 “Funich” Bag Bugs, and will display the one of a kind Baguette bag designed by Japanese artist Hiroshi Senju.

Also that evening, the Hans der Kunst in Munich displayed “The Glory of Water”, an exhibition featuring images of the fountains of Rome captured by Lagerfeld. In addition, the exhibit will showcase the restored 1977 Fendi film “Histoire D’Eau”, along with a corresponding coffee table book.
