LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! Rag & Bone Has Produced Short Films For Their Fall 2014 Runway Show

Rag & Bone has branched out with original content for fall.  The high-end fashion label has commissioned creative director Dilly Gent, who has worked with Radiohead, Tina Turner, and Jack White to produce three different films based on the brand’s fall 2014 runway collection.

In turn, Gent sought out the talents of three different directors –Wendy Morgan, Colin Rich and Vern Moen –to create these films.
With creative control in the hands of the three directors, the project features a documentary, a conceptual piece and a dance performance.
According to Managing Partner Marcus Wainwright, “For FW 14, we wanted to explore our womenswear show and collection from different focuses and perspectives. Engaging imagery is a big part of our DNA and to venture further into the medium of film and see these three different points of view was pretty cool.”
With Morgan’s sensual film that explores the beauty found in dance and flight, Rich’s juxtaposition between the runway show and the sensory intensity of New York City, and Moen’s compelling glimpse into what the show production entailed as well as insight into what the brand stands for, the films are sure to stand out.
